Mobile internet

In the age of work from anywhere, and fulltime RV-ing one of the most common questions I hear is "What internet should I use?" Mobile internet is a wonder of our age, in order to stay connected or work from home- literally your home away from home! But what are the options? Should you use a mobile hot spot, or maybe pay the entry fee to a global system? Here's some options:
Star Link
A lot of people have heard about it, and it is usually the default answer to this question. It's a great option but, the cost $165/mo. (for unlimited) can be pretty daunting. Star Link really shines when service isn't available, because it doesn't rely on cell towers. So if you're planning on exploring the edges of the world, Star Link is probably for you!
Calyx (Institute)
Calyx is awesome. I personally use it and have for years now. They offer mobile internet at a great price, through the T-Mobile network. Unlike many other options their internet truly is unlimited. There is no slow down to 3G like the others. In addition, the cost is tax deductible since Calyx is a non-profit. Pricing options run as low as $400/yr. for unlimited 4G which comes to just $33/mo. Use my code "e9emg" to get a free month of service at check out!
Verizon/AT&T
My wife and I have multiple options for a mobile hotspot but the issue we immediately ran into was throttling which means a drastic Wi-Fi speed reduction after a set number of gigs were used. For the price, the carrier charges, we chose a different route.
There's a whole lot of information in the world of internet, so I truly hope you found something useful here today that you couldn't find elsewhere!
